Inspired by Dada J.P. Vaswani’s vision, this center will be a sacred space for reflection, learning, and unity—open to all.
“When you no longer see Dada in Poona, look for me here.”
– Dada J.P. Vaswani
The Sadhu Vaswani Center for World Peace was envisioned by Dada J.P. Vaswani as a sacred refuge for seekers, saints, students, and every soul longing for peace. This is not just a building—it’s a living, breathing promise to the world. A space where generations to come can gather, reflect, learn, and bloom.
Dada envisioned a haven where hearts would be healed, children empowered, and seekers nourished. Today, that dream is becoming a living reality in the heart of New Jersey. Not just a center—but a sanctuary where inner and outer peace are cultivated.
Guided by the masters. Built for generations to come. Created by the community. Inspired by love.
The Sadhu Vaswani Center for World Peace (SVCWP) seeks to usher in a new era of brotherhood and understanding, by sowing seeds of peace in the hearts of mankind.
The SVCWP believes that the human birth is a rare gift that has been bestowed to serve a uniquely individual purpose and that it is in the discovery and fulfilment of that purpose that success in every aspect of life can be accomplished.
The SVCWP promotes education of the child with the dual qualities of the head and the heart; service of the poor and needy, the sick and the elderly; sustainability; communion with nature; animal rights; interfaith dialogue and harmony; and, above all, Universal Love. The others are not apart from us, we are all part of One Whole.

Sadhu Vaswani Center for World Peace has a Three-Dimensional Emblem that depicts its origins, philosophy, and mission.
The outer circle in the logo represents Oneness. It is set in white, the color of peace, taking on the shape of the samadhi or the physical shrine that marks the final resting place of Sadhu Vaswani and Dada J. P. Vaswani, the revered Masters of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission.
The lotus flower represents spiritual enlightenment, beauty, fertility, purity, prosperity, and eternity. It’s seven blooming petals stand for the oneness of the seven continents of our world. The lotus is set in colors of green, blue, and purple – the colors of the universe that surrounds us and the spiritual centers (chakras) that lie within us: Green, for our land mass and the spiritual heart center; Blue for our water bodies and the sky as well as the throat center and third eye; Purple, for the vast galaxies that lie in the great yonder and, the spiritual crown center.
The inner dome refers to the inner sanctum sanctorum, the state of samadhi or perfect stilling of the human mind that allows the individual to be unified with the cosmic and attain to eternal peace. It is a state that is our ultimate goal. It is centered by a rendition of the ancient Indian symbol Aum representing the primal hum of creation, the Universal Reality. As you will notice closely, the Aum incorporates other religious insignia such as the Cross of Christianity, the Crescent of Islam, and the Star of David. “Children of the Earth,” exclaimed Sadhu Vaswani, “Ye all are One!”
Aum Shanti, Shanti, Shantih! Aum Peace, Peace, Peace!
Let there be Peace in the Universe, Peace on Earth, and Peace in the Heart Within! Let there be Peace in the Body, Peace in the Mind, and Peace in the Spirit!
May Peace Be With You!
Shalom! Shanti! Salaam!
Sadhu T.L. Vaswani, to thousands across the world, is a name synonymous with reverence for all life. Indeed, he was the living embodiment of an unsullied love that recognized no boundaries, unconditional love that knew no bounds. He embraced all that breathed the breath of life; man, animal, birds and all living beings. His love also flowed out to the inanimate and through them breathed the vibrations of his all-encompassing love.
“There is but one life flowing in all men, birds, animals, things animate and inanimate. The others are not apart from us, we are all part of One Whole.”
A contemporary saint of the 20th Century, Sadhu T.L. Vaswani was born on November 25, 1879, in Hyderabad Sind, in undivided India. He was an Indian educationist who helmed as the principal of several prestigious colleges and later redefined learning through the ‘Mira Movement In Education’. He was also a prolific writer who authored several books in English and his native language Sindhi. A born orator, when he spoke, he filled the hall with the rich lyrics of his words and even richer music of his heart. He was a poet, a mystic, a sage and, in the words of Dr Cousins, the Irish Poet he was “a thinker and a revealer of the deep truths of the Spirit.”
In the spirit of collaboration, we welcome all to take part in this journey of peace. Every gesture of support brings us one step closer to realizing the vision of the World Peace Center—where every contribution helps construct and lay the foundation for a more compassionate world as Dada envisioned it. Join us and together let’s sow some seeds of peace in the hearts of mankind.
